First Ilocandia Escapade | An Overview

Everyone wants to visit the northwestern region of our country, the Ilocos Region. This region is rich in culture, history and natural tourist spots that are worth to visit. The place was featured several times in travel shows, blogs and magazines, so it is one of the destinations that are most visited by local and foreign tourists.
The heritage sites in Ilocos Sur such as the Calle Crisologo in Vigan and the Bantay Bell tower in Bantay.
The Baroque churches in Ilocos Region.
Last month, our school conducted a seminar or team building in the Ilocos Region for three days and two nights. Even the travel took long hours waiting on the seats of our bus, we enjoyed the journey in the North especially seeing the sights, exploring the culture and experiencing the adventures in the region.
The strong waves of Pagudpud, the tall windmills of Bangui and the vast sand dunes of Paoay.
Despite of the rainy weather condition, we explored the coastal towns of Santa, Ilocos Sur as well with Bangui and Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte, the heritage sites in Bantay and Vigan in Ilocos Sur, Paoay, Sarrat and Laoag in Ilocos Norte and the unforgettable memories in the region from gastronomic encounters with their local delicacies, the nostalgic reminiscing in the historical sites, the intense adventures in the sand dunes and beaches and the bonding moments of my colleagues in Ilocos Region.

Dates of Travel: August 24 - 27, 2018
